Jonathan Latsky

Jonathan offers extensive experience in creating value in marketing services and technology companies and realizing that value through strategic exits. He began his career launching a company that offered custom databases to marketers, which he successfully sold. In 1991, he founded Syntony Marketing Inc., a database services company serving the North American direct marketing community. After six years of 100%+ annual growth, Syntony was sold to InfoUSA and Jonathan became Canadian President. In 2004, Jonathan acquired Uthink, an online marketing and market research company targeting the student demographic, which he sold in 2008. In the first two years, Uthink went from a loss to 7-figure profitability. He served as Director of the Canadian Marketing Association, founded and chaired the CMA’s Marketing Technology and Database Intelligence Council, and served on the CMA’s Ethics and Privacy Committee. Jonathan has an MBA from Ivey and is a MaRS volunteer advisor, mentoring local entrepreneurs. Jonathan has since turned his attention to helping fellow entrepreneurs with a focus on identifying, and bringing to a successful conclusion, mutually beneficial exits.


Boris Nevelev

Boris is a corporate and securities counsel who has extensive experience with structuring, negotiations, implementation, and closing of corporate/commercial transactions. A significant part of his practice has been focused on private M&A transactions on which he acts as counsel to private and public buyers and sellers. While Boris was originally trained at Torys LLP, he has been an entrepreneur running his own practice for the past 7 years. This experience made him sensitive to the challenges facing entrepreneurs and taught him to approach every aspect of his practice with creativity and flexibility. Boris assists clients at all stages of the M&A process: from pre-sale planning, to due diligence review, to settlement of business terms, to post-closing deal execution. On a deal handled by Manda, Boris may act as overall deal counsel, resolve contentious issues requiring in-depth expertise or simply provide a second opinion. Boris has a broad network of tax, valuation, and dispute resolution advisors, at firms large and small, who can be called upon to provide specific technical expertise to Manda’s clients as needed. Boris is a graduate of the University of Toronto law school.
